Prague Bars & Restaurants
Prague is one of the most popular cities to visit in Europe, and because of it, the city centre can be crowded. A lot of bars and restaurants are focused on tourists, so I tried to also visit some other places. In a couple of days I cannot find a lot of restaurants, but I will be posting some bars and restaurants here, and they will be located per neighbourhood.
Old Town/Staré Město
Old Town/Staré Město is the heart of the city with some great sights. In this area there are many bars and restaurants, but they are mostly focusing on tourists, which makes it less interesting. It is very easy to find trdelník, which is not classical Czech, so you can skip it. There is one place I recommend, but I did not try many in this neighbourhood.
Lokál U Bílé kuželky

Lokál U Bílé kuželky is one of the several Lokál chains in Prague. They serve many classical Czech foods, and they are fast. This one has a nice atmosphere in a basement with good food. It is just two minutes from the Charles Bridge, so you will not be the only tourist, but I liked it.
Reservation: No reservations needed
Busy: It was busy, but we could sit straight away.
Sights nearby: Charles Bridge, Staroměstské náměstí, Piss Statue,
Restaurants/Bars nearby: Not one I tried
New Town/Nové Město
In New Town/Nové Město there are many restaurants, and most are focused on tourists like the Old Town. However, there are some cool places I have visited. On average there are more good places here than in the Old Town. The neighbourhood is huge, so the places are not necessarily close to each other.
U Kroka

U Kroka is a nice Czech restaurant outside the city centre. You can eat classic dishes from this country, which is an underrated cuisine. The staff were very friendly, and they helped us move a bit to get us to a table. The beers are very good. The svičkova and knedlíky were very tasteful.
Reservation: We just got a table, but we were lucky. I think that a reservation can be smart.
Busy: It was busy, but in a good way

Beerpoint

Beerpoint has a very fun concept. They have fourteen taps with different types of craft beers, where you can make them yourself! You need to buy a card with credit, and then you will pay the amount of beer you draught from the tap. The more you drink, the more credit you will lose. There are some very tasty bar food options as well.
Reservation: No reservation needed
Busy: It chanced from quiet to busy, but definitely not overcrowded.

Naše maso

Naše maso is food-wise my absolute favourite of Prague. The place is a combination of a butchery and a restaurant. It only consists of one small room with a counter and 3 tables. The meats here are absolutely fantastic. We shared the burger, which was probably my best burger in years, as they used tartare as meat with good sauces and a Czech steak tartare, which was great. They are fast, so after 20-30 minutes you are finished, as the food is ready in a couple of minutes.
Reservation: No reservation possible I think, but there is limited place. You can also do take away or wait for a bit.
Busy: It is popular, but not overcrowded

Karlín
We only went to Karlín for a special location, but I have not walked a lot here. It looked like a very alternative area, which was very cool. It is not a neighbourhood packed with tourists.
Dva Kohouti

Dva Kohouti was a fantastic bar in Karlín. They had several craft beers, as it is also a brewery. They make their own beer, and you will see their barrels. The beers are good, and so is the atmosphere. The alternative vibe, fun staff and good crowd make this a place you want to go. You will be surrounded by locals, so enjoy your evening!

Busy: It has a fun crowd

Vinohrady
For me, Vinohrady is the best area of the city. The place is almost as gorgeous as other areas of Prague, but there are only a few other tourists. The area is pretty fancy and filled with locals. The density of bars and restaurants is not as high as in other parts, but it is still pretty good.
Beer Garden Riegrovy Sady

Beer Garden Riegrovy Sady is a lovely beer garden in the middle of Rieger Park. You can get your beer in some bars or trucks and sit down in a relaxed setting. There are some food options as well. There is a podium for live music, but nothing was happening when I was there. There are almost no tourists as well.
Reservation: No reservation needed
Busy: Not to busy, but it was early and not very warm.
Sights nearby: Rieger park, Vinohrady neighborhood, view of Žižkov Tower

Vinohradský pivovar

Vinohradský pivovar is a lovely place for craft beers. The beers were very tasty. They have many options from their own brewery and others. The industrial style of the interior is fantastic and gives the true vibe of a craft beer bar. They also serve some good local and foreign bites. The service here was very friendly and fun. This is a magnificent bar to go to!
Reservation: No reservation needed, when I was there, but may be it can be needed.
Busy: A nice crowd was present.
Sights nearby: Not really, however it is on the way from the city to the Fortuna arena of Slavia Prague.
Restaurants/Bars nearby: None of my favourites
Malá Strana
Malá Strana is a lovely neighbourhood on the left bank of the Moldau. It is a gorgeous neighbourhood, but it has relatively fewer restaurants and bars in comparison to other areas of Prague. There are a few I found very nice.
Artic Bakehouse

Artic Bakehouse is a very tasty bakery. They sell fantastic sandwiches, pastries, and coffee. The staff is very friendly. This place offers food to go, but it is great to taste their products. You will smell the bread from outside, and you should try to walk by, but you will probably fail.

Busy: We were helped very quickly
Sights nearby: Memorial to the Victims of Communism, Petrín Hill
Restaurants/Bars nearby:Chléb a hry
Bar Monk

To be honest, I am not a big fan of cocktails, but this is a very cool cocktail bar. The best thing about the bar was the fantastic staff. They were extremely fun, and we had conversations for a long time. The cocktails were very special and tasted great. This is a bar to go to as a hidden gem in the crowded part.

Busy: When we were there it was surprisingly quiet.

Anděl
Andel is a neighbourhood outside the touristic area. The area is very local, and as my hotel was located here, I found some good bars and restaurants here. The place has some good different options.
Andělský pivovar

Andělský pivovar is a nice bar in a basement in Anděl. There are some home-brewed beers, and you can order a tasting of five of those beers. The atmosphere is very good in here, and also the snacks with a twist were tasteful. The staff helped with ordering the beers and snacks.

Busy: There was a good crowd
Sights nearby: Manifesto Market Anděl
Restaurants/Bars nearby: Manifesto Market Anděl, Chléb a hry, Na Verandách
Chléb a hry
Chléb a hry is a large bakery in Prague, which is very popular, but that is understandable. You can both take away or sit here for a bit. The sandwiches were very tasteful, and the smell was great. If we were here longer, we would have gone another time in the morning.
Reservation: No reservation needed
Busy: There was a line, so I had to wait a couple of minutes. I used the minutes to think about what to order
Sights nearby: Memorial to the Victims of Communism, Petrín Hill

Manifesto Market Anděl

Manifesto market Anděl is a great place to go to, as it is a food market (which I very often enjoy). You can get some good beers and lovely foods from all over the world. There is Mexican, Czech, Asian, Italian and way more. It is an alternative style, which makes it even more interesting.
Reservation: No reservation needed
Busy: Yes, on a good way

Restaurants/Bars nearby: Andělský pivovar, Na Verandách
Na Verandách

Na Verandách may not be the best option to go for some food, but it was a relaxed restaurant to have some beers. The friendly staff was sweet and helpful. The ribs and duck were very tasty dishes, and they were also Czech. This is a nice place, but head here only if you are close.

Busy: Not really

Holešovice
This alternative neighbourhood is very nice to walk through, as the bars and restaurants are cool. However, there is a lesser density of places in comparison to other neighbourhoods.
Vnitroblock

When walking in the area, it looks like a normal neighbourhood, but around the corner there is a very trendy area. There are some shops, galleries and a bar/restaurant. It is alternative, which makes it a very cool place. The highlight for me was the big fox on the wall. Head here for a totally different experience in Prague. Enjoy a nice beer in the bar.

Letná Lookout Beer Garden

Letná Lookout Beer Garden is so great as it gives a wonderful view, great atmosphere, and good beers. There are many tables, and sitting in the sun or shade is just fantastic! You will have a great view of the city, where you can see most of its highlights. Note that you need cash to get drinks here, but there are ATMs as well.
